The Answers You Need
Does it hurt?
Eyelash Extensions are pain-less. Extensions are gently placed on your natural lashes and you wont feel a thing!
Are my eyes/lashes going to be damaged?
If you do your research and go to a certified lash tech (i.e me), certainly no! Depending on your natural lashes, clients are always advised on the correct thickness that will not weigh down your lashes. Eyelashes do shed naturally and can shed along with the extensions. The only time your lashes will get damaged is if you go to someone who applies lashes that are not suitable for your natural lashes. Must be very gentle with extensions do not rub, pick, or pull at your lash extensions or it will cause your natural lashes to fall out prematurely.
How long do Eyelash Extensions last?
Lash Extensions on average last between 3-4 weeks. How the lashes hold up will vary depending on your lifestyle, natural components of your lashes, and how well you take care of them. Clients are reccommended to come in every 2-3 weeks for a touchup to maintain the full-ness of the extensions. After 2-3 months of initial new set, clients are advised to remove old lashes and apply a fresh new set of lashes, this entails a reassessment of lash health and any dirt or debris from lashes are thoroughly cleansed.
How can I care for my lashes?
Aftercare is so important for retention and lash health!
Keeping your lashes clean and free from oils and dirt (using water or a lash cleanser)
Use easily removeable eye makeup and oil-free makeup remover and cleanser
NO waterproof mascara on lashes
do NOT pick pull, or rub your lashes too roughly; this will damage your natural lash health
Make sure lashes are clean before coming back for a fill every 2-3 weeks!
